These products represent the leading edge in performance and value whilst making possible for the first time the interconnection of multi-channel audio into your existing two channel system, without the usual loss in sound quality associated when trying to combine multi-channel audio/AV systems with two channel operation. All external high end processors will cease to function as analogue pre-amplifiers and indeed will probably be split into the three functions of audio processing, video processing and analogue switching/gain control as each of these require special and often conflicting requirements.
