The HA2 is a combination of a normal headphone amplifier and a 3 input line level pre-amplifier plus a dedicated MP3/iPod input. It has a fully discrete output section ‘stolen’ from our bigger TALK power amplifier designs with a very low output impedance, it will even drive an efficient pair of speakers but we don’t recommend you do!! This is no standard headphone amplifier.
Input selection is via a front panel rotary control which then selects the desired input via a relay for the best possible sound quality. The pre-amp section has been stolen straight from one of our Saxon series integrated amplifiers and would not disgrace itself in a full system, just add a power amp and find out!!
The headphone jack is a professional quality 6.3mm/ 1/4” Neutrik type which will prove very robust over many years of use.
With its’s variable pre-amp output the HA2 can be used as the heart of a very compact and discrete system for the office, bedroom or kitchen
Not just content with state of the art performance it also has a new pretty face with variable brightness blue back lit logo and legends and a choice of front panel colours. Black is ‘standard’ but we are also offering Powder blue, Lime green and Pink. With these contemporary designs they should fit into even the most fussy or minimalist of interior designs.
It has all the usual Edwards Audio touches such as gold plated PCB’s but most importantly is also covered by our 10 year guarantee
