Even though this CD player is considered entry-level within the Talk range, it is certainly not entry-level in terms of musical performance. Great lengths have been taken in optimising the printed circuit board layout to gain the maximum performance out of the latest 96kHz-capable digital to analogue converters (DACs) from Burr-Brown. The analogue filter is of proprietary design, minimising phase shift whilst giving excellent attenuation of radio frequency interference inherently generated by digital circuitry. The result is a highly musical CD player totally at odds with the typically clinical and artificial-sounding alternatives currently available.
